Blues man Lane Mack performs a special solo set as he opens for Surf Rock Guitar Legend Dick Dale.

Dick Dale an American surf rock guitarist, known as The King of the Surf Guitar. He pioneered the surf music style, drawing on Eastern musical scales and experimenting with reverberation. He has worked closely with Fender to produce custom made amplifiers, including the first-ever 100-watt guitar amplifier. He pushed the limits of electric amplification technology, helping to develop new equipment that was capable of producing distorted, “thick, clearly defined tones” at “previously undreamed-of volumes.” The “breakneck speed of his single-note staccato picking technique” as well as his showmanship with the guitar is considered a precursor to heavy metal music, influencing guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen. Dick Dale has been called one of the hardest working men in show business. In the past five years he has maintained a heavy concert tour and public appearance schedule throughout the world. Focusing in Europe, Australia, Japan, Canada, South America and the U.S.

Born & Raised in Cajun Country, Lane Mack knows a thing or two about letting the good times Rock and Roll! From fronting a garage rock band at the young age of sixteen Lane Mack has since gone on to grace the stage with numerous national recording artists such as Robert Randolph, Marc Broussard, Roddie Romero and Royal Teeth as well as co-found the cajun/blues band Sons of VooDoo with his brother. Lane Mack is always challenging his versatility, from playing guitar with Lafayette Louisiana folk artist Sean Bruce one night to switching gears effortlessly to soul music as guitarist/ bassist to season 5 finalist of The Voice, Ray Boudreaux. Lane Mack owns the stage with masterful guitar licks and a vocal range that surpasses many. After years of playing and writing Lane has finally stepped out on his own to show the world a brew he’s been perfecting for years. With a catalog of all original songs, its a good thing he’s brewed enough for everyone to taste.
