Six French-speaking poets from Canada and Louisiana meet at this show to display their colors and culture. From different horizons, they will make you discover or rediscover their part of the country, their beauty, their uniqueness.
Charles Leblanc from Manitoba, Paul Bossé from New Brunswick, Georgette LeBlanc from Nova Scotia, and from Louisiana: David Cheramie, Kirby Jambon, Brenda Mounier (April 29), Barry Ancelet (April 30), and Zachary Richard (April 30) will have you experience the richness of French language and the power of their words. Musical accompaniment by David Greely (April 29) and Sam Broussard (April 30).
It's an event blending harmoniously poetry with distinct accents and subject matter and folkloric music. Special thanks to CODOFIL (The Council for the Development of French in Louisiana) and RECF (Regroupement des éditeurs canadiens-français) for supporting this production.
