Join ing for the 2nd Annual SOCC Black Pot Cook Out! Cooks are invited to come and show off their cooking style, spend time with friends and family, and all while giving to a good cause. Door prizes include a fishing rod, black pot and more! Cooks set up at 7 a.m. Admission is $5.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the public is invited to sample a wide variety of wild game dishes prepared by some of the best cooks in the area! From over a dozen cooks, you may find alligator, deer, duck, wild pig and more. You will also find a sweet booth and plenty of drinks to cool you down!
That same evening, come dance to the music of Cedryl Ballou and the Zydeco Trendsetters from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
